A pregnant moms WORST nightmare!

Dishes in the sink! The dish washer broke down and you have a sink FULL of dirty dishes, hubby's not home yet, the kids JUST got home, that means you have to fix something in the meantime for them to eat before dinner AND your over 6months pregnant... A Pregnant moms WORST nightmare!

Palmolive came to the rescue but your unsure of the quality (since you never used it before) it has against the store brand dishwashing liquid you've been using for quite some time to save on money.

You realize that, after using just 2 drops of Palmolive soap, You can get these dishes cleaned in NO time! You really wasted time and money, trying to SAVE money on the store brand and when at times, you can use the whole bottle just to get one plate cleaned, not any more...

I'm making the switch to Palmolive dishwashing liquid soap to save money and get my dishes cleaned! I'm using the Palmolive soft touch with aloe specifically formulated for dry hands. I have dry skin and during the upcoming summer months, I know me and Palmolive will be BFF's, helping me SAVE money, get my dishes cleaned and keeping my hands soft, smooth and not dry!

Thank you Palmolive, you made this mom VERY happy!!

Praying through my journey at 23weeks....

Dear Lord,

I thank You for breathing the breath of life into my baby. You are amazing, God, and I acknowledge your greatness and praise You.

Lord, please help olivia's lungs to continue to grow and develop and to form perfectly. Help me carry the baby to full term so the lungs and other organs have time to mature. Give olivia strong and healthy lungs, and strength and health in every way.

Lord, let us all use the breath You have given us to express gratitude and praise to You. And let us use the breath You've given us to pass on Your love to others. Help me to be a good role model for my family, and help me to be an expression of Your Holy Spirit. Thank You, Lord.

In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Psalm 150:6 (NIV)
"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord."

Praying through my pregnancy at 20, 21, 22wks...

I apologize for being late guys, I can't believe how big I'm getting! I'm so SUPER excited to feel olivia's kicks and movement, I can't wait to meet her. During my ultra sound she had her legs crossed up against her chest, SUPER cute!!!!

Everything has been going well, SUPER tired ALL the time! During the weeks I talked to my doctor about my birth plan and I am VERY much against going through a c-section. NO Maam!!

I've learned that every though I had a c-section with my twins the first time, I have a VERY HIGH chance of giving birth vaginally. I was VERY happy about that.

Below are my updated prayers through the week and scripture you can read during your alone time with the lord, for more information about the prayers and Praying through your pregnancy here is the website: http://www.prayforyourbaby.com/

Enjoy!!!

Dear Lord, (20weeks)

I thank You for hearing and answering my prayers. Your Word tells us that You are touched by our feelings, and that You care for us. And Jesus, You showed how much you love the little children when You took them in Your arms and blessed them. So this week, Lord, I  thank You that I've made it to the halfway point on the pregnancy calendar, and I pray for Olivia's continued healthy growth and development.

It is so amazing the way You designed pregnancy to take care of the baby's needs. I pray for Olivia's skin as it is growing the four layers this week. Help the moisturizing vernix to be produced and do its job. Protect my baby's skin from scratches, dehydration and infection. When my baby is born, protect the skin from harm. Lord, protect my baby, both physically and spiritually. Keep Olivia safe in Your loving arms, In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Psalm 16:1
"KEEP and protect me, O God, for in You I have found refuge, and in You do I put my trust and hide myself."

Dear Lord, (21 weeks)

I pray for Olivia's bones that are developing this week so they can produce life-giving blood cells. I pray for bone marrow that is 100 percent healthy. I ask for the correct amount of red and white blood cells and platelets.

Lord, You promised to hear and answer our prayers. I claim the promise in Psalm 105:8 that says, "He forever remembers His covenant, the promise He ordained for a thousand generations." You don't forget Your promises, and I thank You for that. You can do all things. You are the Creator of life. My hope is not dependent on myself or other people; You are my Source of strength.

Lord, please give me the strength to eat healthy and to workout. I know that anything I do will benefit my unborn baby. Everything I eat, drink and breathe goes into my baby, so please bless me with endurance and the strength to make the best choices.

And Lord, I pray that my baby will be happy. Give Olivia a heart filled with the joy of being alive. May my child find gladness in everyday things like the sun, a puppy, a kitten, a book and a friend. Give us many happy times together.

In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Psalm 105:8(AMP)
"He is [earnestly] mindful of His covenant and forever it is imprinted on His heart, the word which He commanded and established to a thousand generations..."

Dear Lord,(22weeks)

Thank You for this week. The time is getting near and I will soon get to see my newborn baby. I am so excited! Lord, help me to read Your Word to my baby, for I know that it is like honey in her mouth. I pray for health and happiness for my child. There is no greater joy for a mother than to see her children walking in the way of the Lord, as it says in 3 John 4.

Give my child true happiness, not through wealth and riches, but from knowing You as his personal Savior. Help me teach my child to read and memorize your Word and to have a hunger for the Word of Life.

Thank You, Lord, for this beautiful baby growing inside of me.

In Jesus' name. Amen.

3 John 1:4(AMP)
"I have no greater joy than this, to hear that my [spiritual] children are living their lives in the Truth."

Olivia's Development:

For more information

At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. Her lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and she's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath her gums. Her eyes have formed, but her irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment.

If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers her body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which she'll sport until she adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside her belly, her pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.

Praying through my pregnancy journey...19wks...

Oh WoW! 19wks and counting... There's really nothing much to tell, I've noticed my belly getting much bigger, I haven't been getting any crazy cravings, I don't eat much of sweets, (cakes, candy anything sweet) When I do I get headaches, so I eat VERY minimum. I've been feeling the baby move quite frequently and loving EVERY minute of it.

We recently found out that were having a girl! My husband and I both agreed on the name Olivia!

We got the name from an older women in our church who suggested we name her olivia... I told her that I liked the name but wanted to do some research as to the meaning of the name. I wanted to name my baby with a meaning that will define her as a person. I don't like to make up names or pick random names because "nobody else" have them, I wanted to pick a name that meant something to both my husband and I.

Olivia- In most languages the name means "Olive" or "Olive Tree" In the Latin language it means "Olive: symbol of peace" The biblical meaning of an olive tree is a symbol of peace, fruitfulness, beauty, and dignity.

The biblical concept of naming was rooted in understanding that a name expressed essence. To know the name of a person was to know that person's total character and nature. Revealing character and destiny, personal names might express hopes for the child's future.

I instantly real in love with the name and the meaning was perfect!

The Baby Development:

Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.
Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a large heirloom tomato. Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on her skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid. Prayer:

Dear Lord,

I praise You and thank you for this wonderful life growing inside of me. I pray that olivia will continue to grow properly and be 100 percent healthy. Lord, Cause all the parts of her body to grow right and be strong. I pray that my child will have a happy heart and joyful spirit. Give her a personality that draws others to want to be friends. http://www.prayforyourbaby.com/

Lord,
Please make all of my test results accurate and with a good result. Give the doctors wisdom. If anything is amiss at this point, heal my baby and make her totally, completely perfect, in Jesus' name. I stand on your word that promises us that God heals ALL diseases. You are our Creator and Healer, Lord God, and I claim perfect health for my baby.

God, You are awesome, and I thank You for the miracle of this baby growing inside of me. Please help this entire pregnancy to go smoothly, and help me to enjoy this amazing time in my life. This truly is a gift from You, and I praise You for it.

Thank You, Lord.
In Jesus' name. Amen.

James 1:17
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above..."

Is having twins REALLY a blessing?!

First let me explain.... Now that I am pregnant and people are starting to notice, I always get the basic questions:

"How far along, are you?"

"Do you know what your having?"

"Do you have a name yet?"

and so on....

Which I don't mind at all, I LOVE the questions, I LOVE people touching my belly, I LOVE finding out different information from other moms... But when someone ask me..." Is this your first?" or "Do you have any other children?" I tell them..."Yes, I have twins."

Once I begin telling them I have twins the next question is..."How old are they?" Then I start getting the comments and questions:

"You have A lot on your plate!"

"You have boy and girl twins?! Why not just stop, that's so perfect?!"

"Good Luck on your 3rd!"

"How did you do it with 2 at one time?"

"God Bless you... because I know I can't do it!"

"WOW! 2 of everything?! I couldn't do it!"

Now, I know where their heart is coming from and the amount of work it does take to take care of multiple children but it seems like you get a different reaction when you say: "I have twins!"

I will admit that, when new moms ask me for advice when it comes to having children, I will be honest and let them know the tough part about being a mom and If moms that come to me and have a certain number of children, I am guilty myself for saying those things as well, but...

What type of message am I sending when I say those things?

I realize after hearing those comments myself, that I have to watch what I'm saying to other moms, I want to be an encouragement to them and give them hope, and not let them feel worst after speaking to me. Being a mother is already tough, especially when you have more than 1.

I Love my babies so VERY much and those that know me, know I wouldn't trade them for anything in this world. They make me happy, have changed me for the better, kept me accountable and help me to be a better person. I would do it all over again if I got the chance to.

I am so VERY thankful for the older women I have come across in my life, who has changed my perspective on being a mom, Who has helped me be the strong mother I am today, but ALL glory goes to God who has changed me from the inside out and I will never be the same because of it.

Proverbs 12:18
"Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing."
